Former Arsenal star, Cesc Fabregas has announced that his 95-year-old great-grandmother has won the battle against coronavirus. This news is coming two days after he offered to defer his £130,000-a-week wages until July to ease the financial pressure on his club AS Monaco during the coronavirus outbreak.
“She has overcome the coronavirus at 95 years of age. Yesterday the test came out negative! My great-grandmother is a superheroine, but none of this would be possible without the help of all the nurses and doctors who are giving their lives at every moment so that we can all be better and live a little better in these difficult times. Thanks to all the people of the Remei de Arenys de Munt for the great sacrifice they make for these older people. All our respect !!!! Nothing is impossible. Thank you!!!!” The Spaniard wrote on Twitter.
