Embattled comedian, Babatunde Omidan, popularly called Babasuwe following a court proceeding has been granted N500, 000 bail this will however take effect on November 4, 2011.
The actor who was suspected of drug trafficking and arrested three weeks ago by officials of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) was brought to court following an order by Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court to National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to produce him on Wednesday 26 October.
Elesho, Kayode Olaseinde also known as Ajirebi and other actors and actresses were at the court to support their colleague.
Meanwhile Baba Suwe has filed a N100 million suit against NDLEA over his arrest and detention by the agency on October 12, seeking a declaration that his arrest was in gross violation of his rights.

  1. Free at Last … just as in the case of a scanning machine that suggest to the doctor that a woman cannot give birth and suddenly at a crusade or church service the case is being reversed by God… a question 'should the scanning machines be trusted'?
