Few days back, football outlets widely reported news of a possible UEFA All-Star match featuring Europe’s best players Messi and Ronaldo. The news which was first published by Spanish media, Mundo Deportivo created a plethora of excitement in the hearts of fans of the two world best footballers.
MD noted that the game would be split into Europe North (Premier League, Bundesliga, Russian Premier League, etc) and Europe South (La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, etc.)
But sadly that isn’t happening anytime soon. UEFA has denied such plans. It’s officials told Goal.com, “This topic is not being discussed by UEFA and there are currently no such plans.”
