A bronze statue of Brazilian football legend, Pele will be unveiled in June 2 during a Brazil-England friendly game at the Maracana Stadium Brazil. The statue which is currently worked on by prominent Brazilian sculptor, Ique captures the goal the 73 year-old ex-footballer scored in Brazil’s 4-1 win against Czechoslovakia during the 1970 World Cup in Mexico. Asides the not-too-impressive performance of the Super Eagles since the whole African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament started, the officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) think Nigeria has been a victim of unfair refeering decisions.
